The Studienkolleg of Freie Universität Berlin prepares international applicants for university study in Germany when their school-leaving qualification does not yet provide direct admission. Students attend full-time classes five days a week in German and in the subjects of a Schwerpunktkurs that matches their intended degree programme.
The one-year preparation ends with the Feststellungsprüfung. Passing this examination qualifies students to apply within their subject area at German universities.

Choose the Schwerpunktkurs that matches your intended field of study. Each course combines German with subject-specific preparation and concludes with the Feststellungsprüfung.
M-Kurs prepares students for medicine, veterinary medicine, pharmacy, biochemistry, bioinformatics and biology. Subjects include German, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
