The TU Berlin Studienkolleg supports international applicants whose school-leaving qualification does not yet provide direct access to university in Germany. Most students prepare full time for two semesters and finish with the Feststellungsprüfung, the assessment test that opens the way to subject-related university study.

For technical, mathematical, natural-science and engineering degrees. Preparation focuses on German, mathematics and physics or chemistry; computer science is offered as an additional subject.

For economics and social-science degrees. Preparation focuses on German, mathematics and economics, with English and economic subjects as additional preparation. W-Kurs applicants should also plan for the English-language requirement.
